Dave Dime
Dave Dime is small;
He’s thin and sleek.
But Dave has a strong
Mischievous streak.
Dave likes to trick me,
But he does it with a smile.
It doesn’t bother me;
It’s just part of Dave’s style.
Dave Dime is well known
For the stories he imparts.
Some very serious coins
Think he’s lost his smarts.
I think because
He’s so tiny and small,
He tries to act
The biggest of all.
I know Dave Dime well,
And he’s a great guy.
When Dave is around
I laugh ‘til I cry.
Dave is a joker
Of that there’s no doubt.
He’s always laughing
And he doesn’t pout.
You have to take his stories
With a full-size grain of salt.
Some of them should be locked up
In a goofy story vault.
